Upper Church Village, Upperchurch, Co Tipperary, Republic Of Ireland
Walk the hills of Tipperary, just as Eamonn a Chnoic (after whom this walk is named) did in the 17th-18th century. He championed the cause of the poor against English planters, Robin Hood style. These days, it’s a much more peaceful place, full of meadows filled with wild flowers and green fields laced with ancient hedgerow. This walk starts and finishes in the village of Upperchurch.
