Visa, Passport and Embassies

IRISH VISA INFORMATION FOR SOUTH AFRICA

South African passport holders do not require a visa for the Republic of Ireland but must have a valid South African passport. 

South African passport holders travelling to Northern Ireland do require a visa on entry; however any travellers to the Republic of Ireland should contact the relevant embassy regarding visa information. 

Visitors of all other nationalities should contact their local Irish Embassy/Consulate prior to travelling to the Republic of Ireland and visitors to Northern Ireland should contact their local British Embassy, High Commission or Consular Office for visa requirements.
