At Ballagh Court near Adamstown, County Wexford, visitors can find excellent self-catering accommodation. The estate was originally built in the early 19th century and over the years buildings were added to create a courtyard effect. Ballagh Court was a working farm until 1982. Today, the farmhouse and outbuildings have been tastefully restored by the present owners, who live on site. The houses boast a range of amenities and a home-from-home atmosphere. A variety of room sizes and features are available, including king- or queen-size beds, fireplaces, private baths and fully fitted modern kitchens. To the rear of the buildings there is a car parking area, communal gardens, children's play area and picnic area with barbecue. There are also many friendly animals that live at Ballagh Court, including ducks, chickens and pigs. Located in the heart of Wexford, Ballagh Court is just a short drive from a number of beaches, excellent fishing and many tourist attractions. The area is very safe for families with children and pets, as it is away from the main road. There are bicycles for guests to use.
