Sligo offers some spectacular walking and cycling options. Base yourself in An Crúiscin Lan at the heart of Sligo Town where you will meet outdoor enthusiasts Geraldine and Liam McGettigan.

Running the B&B together since 1985, the McGettigans will provide maps and point you in the right direction of all of Sligo’s mountains, ancient ruins and sandy beaches. Wind the day down with dinner at one of the McGettigan’s favourites - Hargadons Pub and Restaurant - where high quality, locally sourced, home cooked food make this a pub a daily hive of activity.

Bike hire from nearby ‘Chain Driven Cycles’ is €10pp per day and a packed picnic is €5pp.
