The Spirit of Christmas Past at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum
Holywood
09 December 2012 - 09 December 2012
Escape the hustle and bustle this festive season and enjoy the gentler and quieter atmosphere of a 1900s Christmas.
Storytelling, brass bands and carol singing around the Christmas tree infuse the museum with the traditional Spirit of Christmas. Make your own Christmas decorations, sample traditional food and buy some gifts in the museum shops.
Browse around the stalls of the Christmas Market in the Parochial Hall and enjoy some Christmas magic in the Picture House. Children can write their letter to Father Christmas, who will be taking time out of his busy schedule to warm his toes in front of the Rectory fire.
