American Country singer Robert Mizzell along with his band, The Country Kings, make a return visit to the Ardhowen Stage after a recent sell out concert. To date, Robert has released six albums containing traditional Country Music tracks and in November 2008, he released his first DVD entitled The Louisiana Man, filmed on location in Ireland and Kentucky and which has exceeded all expectations with its sales. During 2008, three of Robert’s songs achieved top position on the European Country Music Association chart, a first for any Irish based artist with another of his recordings ‘If It’s Gonna Rain’ currently heading towards number one in the same chart. It’s a show that will sell out quickly and one not to be missed!
