Bruff Bluegrass Festival showcases the best bluegrass bands from all over the world. Events held over the weekend include the national horseshoe pitching contest; donkey races; a street barbeque; and masterclasses. The Longboat Memorial Run will take place on 6 October at noon - registration is from 11am at Clancy's Bar Bruff. There is also a 10k run and a 7k walk with a small entry fee (post-race food and refreshments available). There is plenty of accommodation and spaces for camper vans in Bruff. Admission to all events is free making it a great weekend for all the family.
