Radiant Collisions paintings By Frank Golden is the new exciting exhibition hosted by the Russell Gallery in Co. Clare. Radiant Collisions is a title evoked by a line from Mary O'Malley's Poem of the Sky, " In each room's cubed radiance our thoughts collided like dancers ". Created in his studio in Ballyvaughan a collection of abstract paintings of a high colour voltage, using raw pigments and a binding polymer to create layered and lucent works. The paintings in Radiant collisions are akin to music or dance, attempting as they do to achieve a kind of kinetic balance, a valen joy in the patterned collision of forms.
