Annual Fundraiser in aid of Children at Risk Ireland (CARI) takes place on Sunday, 19th August, commencing at 1.00pm. As always, Renvyle Watersports Day is being held on Glassilaun Beach, and it has proved itself, over the years, to be a tremendous success, both as a fundraiser and as a wonderful day out for all ages. Other activities for children include beach games, face painting, sand castle competition and bouncing castle and slide. For those of you who are feeling competitive, we have sheaf throwing and tug of war. Join in, or just relax and be entertained; and if you are feeling peckish, the barbeque and refreshment stall will cater for your needs. This will be a great fun day for all the family; and, by supporting this event, you are contributing to a very worthy cause. This has to be the event of the summer - do not miss it! No hawkers or jet skis allowed.
