Lashed by the ocean, carved by the wind and swept by the rain, Achill Island, Co. Mayo is the largest island off Ireland & home to the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Achill is one of Ireland's most spectacular and beautiful places and is a paradise for runners. Atlantic Ocean, mountain, bog, rugged coastline, wide open bays and miles of unspoilt sandy beaches will create a spectacular backdrop for a truly special event. There will be 3 events including a half marathon; full marathon and ultra-marathon (39.3 miles) run on the same 13.1 mile loop. The atmosphere is going to alive and amazing and the after party is going to be the same! They don't call it the Wild West for nothing! Make history and run on Achill!
