The World Mini Games is a multi-sport event, focused on reduced format versions of sport (football 5 a-side, 7s rugby, 6s cricket, 9 hole golf, foot, bike, motorvehicle, boat sprinting etc). It is for adults of every ability and will feature upwards of 30 different types of sports. People around the world have seen how passionate and sporting Irish sports fans and the Games are a fantastic opportunity to come and experience the craic to be had at an Irish sports event while possibly walking away with a World Title. The events will take place in many different sites, within a 5 mile radius of the UCC Mardyke. It will also feature a Sports, Health and Wellness Expo, a Corporate Golf Challenge and a range of sport conferences and seminars, including the Irish Sports Summit.
