The Gathering Night with KÍLA - Fri 2nd Aug Located in Oldcastle, Co Meath, the Le Chéile Arts & Music Festival welcome you to its Gathering Night Gig featuring the World renowned Traditional & Fusion act, Kíla. Le Chéile will enter its 16th year in 2013, and is now one of the top truly independant music festivals in Ireland. Our festival, run by volunteers, is now an Award Winning Festival, having recently won the 'Best Festival Award' at the Meath Tourism Awards 2012. On Fri 2nd August 2013, Le Cheile Arts & Music Festival opens it's doors to the world, as we invite you to sample some of the best Irish music in the country today. Kila are an award winning, world famous Trad act, and have featured in many movies, and productions. With a thumping sound, and a tribal beat, Kíla will open 2013's Le Chéile Festival as part of it's Gathering Night. The streets of Oldcastle will come alive with all manner of on-street entertainment, fire dancers, and traditional dancers. We hope to see you there!
