Internationally renowned artist and curator Stephen Brandes assembles a group of overseas artists whose work looks at the role of animals in our society. 'Beasts of England, Beasts of Ireland' will see Ben Long's (United Kingdom) monumental horse sculpture as its centrepiece in the Main Gallery in Visual, supported by a series of European and Irish artists including Djordje Ozbolt (Czech Republic), Stephen McKenna (Ireland), Frances Upritchard (New Zealand), Isabel Nolan (Ireland), Dan Hayes (United Kingdom) and Yuriy Nourshteyn (Russia) and others to complete the narrative. Each of the artists will be invited to Ireland to give talks, lectures and public interviews over the course of a three-month period.
