Cork Chess Congress weekend chess tournament consists of one game on Friday, three on Saturday and two on Sunday. This is an annual tournament with 3 rating sections - 1600+, 1200-1600 and U1200. The total prize fund is subject to entry but is normally €3,000, entry is €35 before the 16th of April and €45 thereafter. The format is a six round Swiss with 90 minutes + 15 second increment for all moves.
