Two walks are on offer: Muckross House by boat to Lord Brandon's Cottage and walk back on the Old Kenmare Road section of the Kerry Way to Muckross House. The walk commences at 10.00am from Dundag Boathouse which is a short walk from the carpark at Muckross House and should take about 4.5 to 5.0 hours. The actual walking distance is approximately 9+ miles. Cost €20 pp. Also commencing at 10.00.a.m. from Ross Castle by boat to the Monastic Island of Inisfallen - after c. 30 mins on the Island, boat continues across Lough Lein to mountain shore and returns to Ross Castle. From Ross Castle, the group then goes on a leisurely trek around Ross Island Nature Trail and Bronze age Mining Trail before returning to Ross Castle. Duration is approximately 3.5 to 4.0 hours. The actual walking distance is approximately 3.5 miles. Cost €20 pp. All walk subject to the usual conditiions of min number, weather conditions etc.
