The Declan Hayes Memorial Half Marathon & 10k Run/Walk is a charity fun run/walk in memory of Declan Hayes from Doonbeg who died in a motorbike accident on the 26 October 2010 at 43 years of age. 2013 will be the 3rd year of the event and all proceeds will go to charity. Previous charities have included Suicide Aware, Clare Children with Autism, Dun Laoghaire Rehab & Kilkee Marine Rescue. The race begins at 11am and the route covers a beautifully scenic loop around Doonbeg. The cost is €25 euro for half marathon & €15 for 10K. Register online or by contacting us. Spot prizes.
