The Conamara 10K is one of the most scenic road races in Ireland, starting in Carna village, crossing the islands of Roisín an Chaladh and Muighnis, before reaching the turnaround point at Muighnis graveyard and heading back to Carna. The stunningly beautiful course is accurately measured and certified, will be chip-timed and refreshments will be provided afterwards in Carna Bay Hotel. The Conamara 10K, which is being organised by the local triathlon club, TríSpórt, will be open to runners, joggers and walkers. Following the 10K Chonamara award ceremony, a lively Gaeltacht cultural session will be held at the hotel, with music, sean-nós dancing and sean-nós singing. The night will finish with a lively traditional Irish music session.
