This year the Half Door Club International Set Dance and Music Festival is celebrating 20 years and offering guests great value and entertainment with 5 of the very best ceili bands, workshops by Pat Murphy, music sessions and French music. Workshops take place on Saturday at 10.30am and 2pm and on Sunday at 11am with Pat Murphy. The weekend is now very popular with European dancers so there are French dancing sessions and a French musician will be taking part in sessions and playing. The bands taking part are Swallows Tail, Johnny Reidy, The Abbey, The Deenagh and The Tulla. Informal music sessions will also be held all weekend. The Half Door Club is renowned for its hospitality and tea breaks and cakes and tarts etc. are delicious. An event not to be missed!
