Join in Mooathon 2013 - a 'cow' themed half marathon and full marathon event. Try either the semi-skimmed event (13.1 miles/21 km) or the 'full fat' (26.2 mile full marathon)! Walkers are welcome in the 13.1 miles, but, for the 26.2 miles, only runners will be allowed. For the full 26.2 Moo, there is a cut off time of 6 hours. The course is a point to point race for both sections, so there are no boring loops and the scenery is incredible. The race begins at 10am in Kilmacrenan town, just outside Letterkenny and the route is along the Lough Salt road to Downings, where it finishes just before the beach. Buses provided to and from start and finish. The event is A.A.I credited with chip timing provided by Multisports.ie. There are no late entry fees except on race day. Please be aware that race day entries are not guaranteed a t-shirt (first come first served).
