The Spiddal Currach & Hooker Regatta sees Currach racing and Galway Hooker racing along the shores of Spiddal with family events on the beach & traditional Irish music. The Currach racing will take place on Sunday with teams from Kerry, Galway, Donegal, Clare and Limerick battling it out for first place. Galway hooker racing starts on Saturday with a chance to view the boats up close. There will be family events, such as bouncing castles and tug-of-war, on the beach and traditional Irish music played on the pier and in the local public pubs.
