The Lough Cutra Castle Triathlon offers a choice of triathlon distances in the lovely grounds of Lough Cutra Castle just outside Gort, Co. Galway. Olympic, Mid-distance and sprint adult races; Juniors (aged 8-10, 10-12 & 13-15); individual; relay; and family entries. It's a great family day out, with entertainment in a fabulous castle setting. This is a Triathlon Ireland Race and part of the Castle Triathlon Series (Ireland, England, France). It is the ideal race for the first time triathlete - check out the sprint distances ... they're easier than you thought! Or think about putting a relay team together and just face one of the triathlon elements instead of all three. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to do a triathlon together in safe, secluded setting. All children's events take place entirely within the Castle grounds.
