Blacksod Triathlon Challenge is ranked a National Series Race sanctioned by Triathlon Ireland. he race consists of a 1500m swim in Blacksod Bay, a 43K cycle to Belmullet & a 10K run across the sand dunes of Falmore. This race is described as one of the most scenic and challenging routes in Ireland. A must do! As an extra bonus, all participants are treated to a meal post-race. Entertainment is provided in one of the local pubs in the evening of the event for all participants.
