Scoil Acla is Ireland's oldest summer school which was originally founded in 1910 and re-launched in 1985. Scoil Acla continually attracts a huge number of visitors, from home and abroad, who are interested in traditional music, culture, the Irish language and the arts. Since its re-launch it has prided itself by offering the very best tuition in traditional music, song and dance as well as a creative writing course, Irish language classes, basket weaving course with all levels catered for from beginner to advanced students in each course.
