Run the Gauntlet is a half-marathon event through the Gap of Dunloe and is open to walkers and runners. Voted 30 out of the 'Top 50 Outdoor Events in 2011' by Outsider Magazine. Are you tough enough? All finishers will get a special medal with the profile of the route carved into the top of it and the mark of Tyr on the front - the ancient god of single combat, victory and heroic glory! All finishers will receive custom made t-shirts. But only the bravest finishers under 2 hours will receive a special coveted prize black t-shirt. All those finishing in under 1 hour and 45 minutes will receive a special red t-shirt. There are complimentary post-event massages for all participants available at the finish; along with a choice of tea and soup, provided by Kate Kearney's Cottage.
