Camphire International Horse Trials are world class eventing competitions held in the heart of the Blackwater valley annually. The Trials attracted thousands of visitors in 2011 and 2012. Onlookers are catered for with a trade and food arena with gift products, clothing, crafts and food and more. A range of family fun activities including archery, climbing wall, garden games and falconry are also on offer. 2012 saw the 3rd running of the Camphire International Horse Trials. The addition of the new CIC*** class proved to be a huge success. The event course for Camphire is designed by renowned multi-Olympic course designer and current CEO of British Eventing, Mike Etherington-Smith. Camphire International Horse Trials would like to thank all the volunteers who helped with the preparation and running of the Event in 2012. A big thank you also to the many sponsors and two very supportive landowners in Jim Browne and Henry Wilks who provide their lands to enable the event to take place.
