This 2013 Disabled Sailing World Championships is one of the highlights of the Irish sailing calendar and also for the town of Kinsale. It is the first time this event is taking place in Ireland and over 300 people are anticipated to attend - including sailors, support staff and coaches. The racing will start for the three Paralympic fleets with a practice race on Sunday, 25 August followed by 2 races a day from Monday to Friday. The winners of the regatta will be declared the 2013 Disabled Sailing World Champions with the prize giving taking place in Kinsale yacht club on Friday.
