The River Moy 1/2 Marathon is organised for runners by runners with the aim of delivering a high quality running event in Ballina for all levels of runners and walkers to enjoy. The route has been accurately measured and will have an Athletics Ireland permit. Race begins at 10am. All participants will receive a timing chip, a technical running shirt and a goodie bag which will be packed full of fantastic products. Refreshments will be served after the race. The half marathon route is relatively flat with a few challenging hills along the way. Most of the half marathon will be run on roads on either side of the banks of the River Moy.
