Belvedere Halloween Spook Walks

Mullingar

26 October 2013 - 28 October 2013

Scream if you want to, it will help them find you! The annual Halloween Spook Walks celebrate the ancient festival of Samhain, where the lines between this world and the other world blur and ill at ease spirits are free to roam in search of a pure spirit to bring them into the light. Assemble in the visitor centre with guided walks nightly from 7-11pm. Don't stray from the path and make your way through the Scarecrow Garden, along the inky black shore of Lough Ennell and into the Forest of Fear where terror will stalk you and your worst nightmares lurk. Pass the witches castle and survive the witches cauldron in the bad fairy garden, before escaping the clutches of Mad Mary in the Victorian Garden. Think twice before seeking refuge in Belvedere House as several paranormal investigations have confirmed extensive spirit activity, temperature plunges and apparition sightings. The rage of The Wicked Earl is captured in the porous limestone of the house and his malevolent presence reeks through. Belvedere Spook Walks are great value as participants tend to relive the walk over the next few nights. Not suitable for children under 8, dress appropriately for an outdoor walk and bring a small torch. Booking is advisable as places are limited on walks. Remember we scare because we care.
