Baboró International Arts Festival for Children is Ireland's flagship international arts festival devoted exclusively to children and families. In 2013 they celebrate 17 years of presenting a multidisciplinary arts festival to thousands of families. Baboró brings the most diverse selection of the finest in professional performing arts from Ireland and around the world to its annual one-week festival in Galway. The festival programme varies from year to year to bring a wide diversity of exposure to the arts especially created for young audiences and their families. With morning, afternoon and evening performances on weekdays, and a fantastic Family Weekend on 19 - 20 October, the programme is designed for children from 18 months upwards and their families and includes theatre, dance, music, literature, puppetry, comedy and visual arts. Performances are age-targeted, so Baboró makes it easy for you to choose the best show to attend. Tickets range from €5 to €28 for a family ticket for 4 people. Free events include exhibitions and workshops for schools and families. Baboró works with some of Galway's best hotels to provide great family deals on accommodation and ticket packages.
