The extremely popular Mayo traditional music show ‘The Legend of Gráinne Mhaol’ is heading for the west coast again this winter with its sail at full mast for its Christmas Special at Hotel Westport. The show features some of Ireland’s best known and most gifted musicians and dancers like James Kilbane, Darragh Healy and Jenny Mulvey, and this Christmas the cast and crew are joined by special guest, the legendary Sean Keane. Based on the real-life story of the Pirate Queen Grace O’ Malley or Gráinne Mhaol ‘The Legend of Gráinne Mhaol’ sails into Hotel Westport on December 29th for one night only. The show has attracted and entertained thousands of visitors from all over the world since its maiden voyage four years ago and is now regarded as a ‘must see’ for all tourists visiting the west of Ireland.
