The Helly Hansen Killarney Adventure Race is an adrenalin-packed day of adventure. Competitors must complete a choice of either 67K, 57K or 25K routes by running, hiking, cycling and kayaking across Killarney National Park. The race is not just for the ultra-fit, grizzled adventure race veterans out there. There are 3 different routes to suit all levels of abilities. If you want to drag a few friends along, there is also an option available to compete in teams of two, three or four. Everyone who takes part will receive a custom made cycling jersey, a Helly Hansen base layer top, a goodie bag with loads of stuff from event sponsors, a medal, hot food, entertainment and a mega after-party in Killarney Town to celebrate your achievements with your fellow adventurers. The event was voted '2011 Event of the year' by Ireland's leading outdoor and adventure sports publication Outsider Magazine. The 2013 event promises to be even bigger and better!
