Cork St. Patrick's Festival

Cork City

16 March 2013 - 18 March 2013

Cork St. Patrick's Festival is a multi-disciplinary arts festival focusing on street-based family oriented events. The festival's development begun in late 2003 to re-envision the then St. Patrick's Day Parade into a strong festival event that would inspire community participation, create a critical focus and launch to the tourist season and deliver high quality entertainment to locals and visitors alike. This was fuelled by requests from the local tourism industry and business to develop a quality attraction to Cork which would promote an early season tourism focus within the city. The festival features a range of high-quality street-based family oriented events and showcases Cork artisan food. Come join in when the city bursts into life, jam packed with free events, a parade and markets!
