Limerick Agricultural Show is the largest agricultural show in Munster. Cattle, horses & ponies showing & jumping, sheep, goats, horticulture, crafts, dog show, trade stands & entertainment-value & entertainment for all. Exhibitors come from all over the country to compete in the various classes, particularly in the cattle, horse and show jumping sections. The horticulture exhibitors produce a great display of floral arrangements together with vegetables. The craft section features photography, baking, art and crafts for both young and old competitors. The horse and pony showing sections include ridden and working hunters, brood mares and foals, young horses and a racehorse to riding horse class together with a stallion parade. Sunday features a great pet dog show with 14 classes. Goats, sheep and poultry also compete on Sunday and on both days there are a variety of trade stands involving everything from tractors to jewellery. Plenty of side shows and entertainment, including live music, is also provided. All in all, it is a great day for all the family with something for everyone!
