On Sunday 9th December 12noon-5pm Ghan House are hosting their second annual Christmas Fair which will be a celebration of everything that the local area has to offer at Christmas time. With Santas grotto for the kids, a chance to purchase some last minute Christmas gifts and vouchers and a Christmas cookery demonstration, it will be a day to remember! There is a fantastic opportunity to get some cookery tips as their multi-award winning chef will be conducting a deliciously festive Christmas cookery demonstration at 1pm. There will be a charge of 15 per person for the demo which will be donated to local charities and good causes. Its a unique chance to see how Christmas is done in a professional kitchen! Local businesses and crafts people such as McArdle's Boutique, Pearl beauty salon, Carlingford Drift, Petals Omeath, Heavenly Cakes, Wines Direct, Celtic Lasers and Crystal & Pearl Crafts Omeath will be on hand throughout the day to purchase last-minute gifts and vouchers as well as Ghan House itself offering homemade jams, chutneys and breads. There is also wine-tasting with Owen from Wines Direct - yummy!
