This is the final event of the hotly contested 2013 Irish Slalom Windsurfing Series which will decide the coveted Irish Windsurfing Champion for 2013. Slalom racing will take place in the nearby Tracht Beach with over 50 competitors racing across the bay at speeds of up to 40 knots! For the newcomers to the sport, come to the beach for a 'splash n dash' try windsurfing session. The fun doesn't stop at the beach as the festival atmosphere continues into the quaint village of Kinvara for night time SUP (Stand up Paddleboarding) races in the bay beside the town itself under the shadow of Dunguaire Castle. Live music is provided in the local bars where the friendly locals and Champion Windsurfers enjoy the delights that Kinvara has to offer.
