"Castleconnell Craft Fair started as a Sunday evening display of the work of the local craft workers. It has since become an established two day event which attracts over 2,000 visitors annually. There will be 45 displays of varied craft from many parts of Ireland so a place in the fair is highly valued by all craft workers and has become a nationally important event in the craft workers' calendar. The range of craft on display includes a wide variety of Irish made pieces in various media and is an excellent opportunity to purchase crafted pieces directly from the craft worker. The Castle Oaks House Hotel is the perfect location for the fair, with food and drinks available throughout both days."
