Limerick on Ice is back so what better way to celebrate than to put your skates on and get on the ice. This icy festive event will run from the 15th of December through to the 9th of January and can be found in Arthur’s Quay Park right in the centre of Limerick City. It is a great family day out for both young and old alike, and its location means that it is now easy to find the rink and park the car. Inside there is also an ice café where visitors will be able to purchase tea or coffee to warm themselves up before getting on the ice. For those who just wish to watch others carve up the ice, festive snacks are also available to keep up the energy levels. Ice skating is a sport that all can enjoy, and is great fun for those who are just putting on their skating boots for the first time. As a traditional holiday past time, Limerick on Ice really does bring alive the magic of this exciting winter holiday.
