Private gardens around South Tipperary are kindly opened to the public for one weekend every year. View these beautiful gardens and leave with a new found love for nature and gardening. This is a unique opportunity for Irish and International visitors to see several private gardens in one week-end. Educational seminars and guided garden tours are on the plans for this summer time event. Gardens on Display: Maureen Ahern, New Haven, Cahir. Open 2 - 8 pm. Directions: Loughloher road. Pass Convent and Girls Primary School. Pass Aiseiri: Drive under Railway Bridge; First gate on the right after the bridge. Large stone entrance with long drive through pasture. 2 Miles from Clonmel on Dungarvan road. First 2 storey house on the right , beyond the ball alley cross. 2.5 Miles ex Cashel on Dundrum road, (R505), left hand side, stone wall and entrance wiuth electric gates. From Ardfinnan take the Clogheen road, pasy Moy Insulation. 1.3 miles from Moy, turn right, the Bungalow is painted pink on the left about a half mile from the mail road. 1 mile from Thurles on Horse & Jockey Road. on left hand side of road. Follow the N24 (Waterford rd) from Clonmel, turn onto N76 (Kilkenny rd), take the 2nd at pub/petrol pumps. take 3rd right at sign for Killurney, 1st left after the school and it's the first house on your left.
