The Patsy Farrell Festival is a celebration of Irish music, song and dance in 15 towns throughout Longford Westmeath over the August bank holiday weekend. All the seissiuns are open and free entry This is the largest Irish music festival in the midlands this summer. The aim is to make people aware of the wealth of Irish music in their local area and encourage them to come out and enjoy the week long ceol and fun. This is free entertainment at its best and hopefully that musicians from other parts of the country will travel and join in this wonderful celebration of Irish music, song and dance.
