The Blackrock Raft Race is one of the premier summer events in the region. The programme of event includes a family treasure hunt, a sandcastle competition, a fancy dress competition, and of course the famous Raft Race itself. The Irish Coastguard helicopter will provide an aerial display, there will be a band recital at the Sundial, plus many more events to make it a fun day. Spectators are advised to come early to claim a seat on the wall, as this promises to be a great family day at the seaside - and it's free!
