Kilkenny Fashion Week – which takes place 10th-13th October. The biggest fashion show ever staged in the southeast, a scholarship to find and assist a fashion designer of the future, pop up fashion showings, style workshops, late night shopping and Ireland’s first fashion tweetup are amongst the events scheduled for the inaugural Kilkenny Fashion Week Other events over Kilkenny Fashion week include: a Gala Fashion show produced by Catherine Condell and featuring 20 Kilkenny retailers; an interactive style workshop with stylist Kieran O’Gorman, make-up artist Michael Brown and fashion stylist Karen Morrissey and Ireland’s first fashion “Tweetup” with ‘reveals’ for eight people who won make-over competitions via Twitter. Those who can’t make a fashion show will have the show brought to them via the KKFW Fashion Train, providing pop-up fashion shows in bars, restaurants and shops.
