Undisputedly the highest-class mixed card in the entire Irish racing calendar, “Super Sunday” at Tipperary is the most popular meeting run at the track all year. The pick of the action on the Flat is the Group 3 Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes, an extended 7f contest for three-year-olds and up, and it has been won by the such high-class performers as Miss Sally, Noelani, Eastern Appeal and Emulous. The Longfield Stables Race, an extended 7f conditions race for juveniles, was won by the Aidan O’Brien-trained Seville last year and he went on to fill to split his fellow Tipperary winners Casamento and Master Of Hounds in the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster.
