Portrush East Strand Beach

Portrush is a popular seaside destination for visitors and tourists. It is very busy during the summer months when the weather is hot and the safe and clean waters beckon keen surfers and families who want to get 'away from it all' for a day at the beach.

Portrtush has many amenities nearby that compliment to the glorious beaches, including restaurants, accommodation, and pubs offering local food and drink.

Many organisations in the immediate area will organize fishing equipment, tours, boat hire and trips and horse riding. Also home to the area is Barry’s amusement park which offers thrill rides and childrens entertainment- a must for the whole family!!

The East Beach is backed by glorious sand dunes and the nearby Royal Portrush Golf Course. Its golden sands are lined by dramatic cliffs that have been weatherworn over the centuries into a spectacle of caves waiting to be explored and superb views over the Skerries to the Scottish Islands

Portrush East beach has also been awarded the prestigious Blue - Flag beach award for the management, cleanliness and quality of water.
