Belfast is home to the world famous Harland and Wolff shipyard which has been involved in the construction of numerous significant vessels throughout its 150 year history, with the most famous surely being The Titanic.
As the facility is a fully functional manufacturing facility, it is not open to members of the general public. H&W recommend the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, the industrial exhibition held onboard MV Confiance on the lagan near the Waterfront Hall, and the Titanic Pump House or the Titanic Signature Building.
