Gain an insight into the history of Northern Ireland and Bangor by visiting two award winning museums. Begin at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum depicting an Ulster town from days gone by, world class Irish Railway Collection and Titanic exhibition amongst others.

Then make your way to North Down Museum where a guide will take you through the area’s history from the Abbey, Vikings, World War II and Bangor’s development as a seaside destination. This can be followed by a visit to the Bangor Castle Walled Garden before returning home.

Ulster Folk & Transport Museum entrance is chargeable & North Down Museum entry is free.
