The Aghascrebagh Trail

Add to My Ireland Omagh Tyrone - Northern Ireland

Drive north first to Glenhull and enjoy this walk around a number of

archaeological sites. Having parked your car in Glenhull, begin northwards through

this small village and take the first left. Crossing the Owenkillew River via the

small bridge, youwill see a new housing project to the left. Crossing another small burn

you turn a sharp corner known as the Nine Pipes Turn. Take the next road off to the

left and continue along this road straight through the crossroads. Travelling on for

approximately 1 mile, situated in a field on your left is the renowned

Aghascrebagh Staning Stone. Continue on this road and take a left at the T-junction.

The Crouck bridge takes you over the Owenkilew River once more.
