Mary Catherine's Cottage

Mary Catherine’s Cottage is a traditional Irish farm dating to the 1700’s. The cottage, stable and outbuilding have been sympathetically restored and can cater for up to 150 visitors. Guests are encouraged to stroll around the grounds where you will find our gardens in full colour from May onwards. For those with energy to burn the Hen & Cock mountains await nearby! Refreshments, 3 course lunch and live traditional Irish entertainment are included.

Your day can be tailored to your requirements, please just ask. The following is a suggested itinerary that ensures an enjoyable excursion with memories to last:

Warrenpoint - Complimentary teas, coffees and biscuits at Diamonds restaurant. Stroll along the waterfront and pier and browse local shops while breathing in the lovely fresh sea air

Depart for the Silent Valley travelling along the coast road with Carlingford Lough to our right, passing through Rostrevor. Arrive at the Silent Valley, home to parklands, lakes, reservoir and visitor information centre.

Continue from the Silent Valley to complete a full tour of the Mourne Mountains on your way to Mary Catherine’s Cottage.
