You will find the freshest fish and seafood at the home of Northern Ireland’s largest fishing fleet. For those seafood lovers this is an ideal way to learn more about what to look for when buying, handling and cooking seafood. It is aimed to be a fun, relaxed, learning experience.

You will learn about how fish is caught, filleted, handled and cooked. All classes are designed for both the beginner and the food enthusiast. Mourne Seafood Cookery School now also offer a wide range of non-seafood classes. Please see the website www.mourneseafoodcookeryschool.com for the full range of classes. Lift and stair access available.

We also aim to be sustainably aware and source as much of the ingredients used from local food producers as possible. We also stock a range of local produce available to purchase in the cookery school.

Seafood cookery demonstrations start from £15 for 10 - 14 people, £10 for 15 - 23 people and £7 for 24 – 46 people. Seafood cookery classes are available, 2.5 hours – £60 per person, 4.5 hours - £95 per person and 6 hours - £130 per person including lunch which you have cooked yourself. Vouchers can be purchased to any value, and make an ideal gift.

Events held throughout the year. Please contact us for details.
