The Thomond Bar situated in Cork City Centre is an outstanding example of a traditional, well run Irish Pub. We are situated in Marlborough Street just off Patrick Street. Cork City's main shopping street. Food and Beverage: All day dining is a top feature of the bar, with a full menu available without interruption from 12 noon to 10m. This is served all day and by romantic candlelight from 6pm. Weather permitting, you may dine outside in the peaceful pedestrianised Marlborough Street. Every weeknight at 9:20pm, the Thomond Bar is the venue for a lively traditional Irish ballad music session, which is attended by locals and visitors from all over the world. There is a traditional song from Ireland about 'Digging for gold in the street'. We make sure you don’t have to dig or look very far for this treasure as we work very hard to make The Thomond Bar the gem right in the middle of the City of the Blarney Stone.
