Dingle Writing Courses

Dingle Writing Courses run an autumn programme of residential creative writing weekends in fiction, poetry, childrens fiction and starting to write, all of which are open to beginners and experienced writers alike. The courses take place in a stunning location on the Dingle peninsula’s Slea Head drive and participants accommodation is in the nearby Ceann Sibéal Hotel in Ballyferriter. The courses are all tutored by professional Irish writers and the organisation is funded and approved by The Arts Council of Ireland. Tutors are always of the highest calibre and in the past have included Booker prizewinner Anne Enright, Niall Williams, Paul Durcan, Jennifer Johnston and Claire Kilroy.
